october

Hi everyone,
If you have any question feel free to ask topic team

Week 1 (5-11 oct) : celebrate, don't compare

  • To understand that our relationship with other believers is important as it displays Christ’s love in action, and comparison can be unhealthy in our relationship with others because it can breed insecurity, pride or division.
  • To understand that God made each of us differently and to fulfill a specific need in our generation.
  • To learn to celebrate and to be genuinely happy when others succeed, instead of feeling threatened or left behind or envious.

Week 2 (12-18 oct): the power of self control

  • To understand that our relationship with other believers is important as it displays Christ’s love in action, and lack of self control can damage relationships because it often leads to hurtful words, impulsive actions and conflicts that could have been avoided.
  • To understand that self-control is a fruit of the Spirit that helps us respond with patience and love, instead of letting emotions rule over us.

Week 3 (19-25 oct): make no assumptions

  • To understand that making assumptions can harm relationships because it leads to misunderstandings, false judgments about others and misguided responses.
  • To understand that as Christians, God calls us to seek the truth in love, listen with humility and not to rely on our own assumptions.

Week 4 (26 oct- 1 nov): be a peacemaker

  • To understand that excellence in relationships is not about avoiding problems but about being brave enough to address them with God’s love. Jesus calls us to be peacemakers, not just peacekeepers.
  • Peacekeepers avoid conflict at all costs. They stay quiet, pretend nothing is wrong, and hope the tension disappears.

Peacemakers step into conflict with wisdom and courage, bringing God’s truth, restoring relationships, and creating lasting peace.
