To continue our journey from being excellent to being impactful.
To know that our anointing is our appointment.
CONTENT
“I chose you and appointed you” (John 15:16)
- The year 2026 is about recognizing that believers are chosen and appointed by God to create a lasting, meaningful impact in their lives, families, communities, and the kingdom of God.
- 2025 Reflection: The Year of Excellence - 2025 focused on excellence, defined as giving God our best through wholehearted service combined with effort, rest, and renewal. - Excellence is not a destination but a foundation for the next step: impact. - The faithful pursuit of excellence shapes character and prepares believers for their mission in 2026.
Identity Before Impact
- “We are God’s workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10)
- Emphasizes the importance of understanding our God-given identity as His workmanship, not by chance but by divine design. Being appointed means being prepared and assigned a purpose.
Understanding Impact
- Impact is not about worldly success, recognition, or temporary achievements.
- Based on Matthew 5:14-16, impact means being a light that shines before others, so God is glorified through our good deeds.
- Lasting impact involves faithfulness and perseverance, as taught in Galatians 6:9, promising a harvest if believers do not give up.
CONCLUSION
Last year we learned what it means to be excellent and that God calls us to manifest it in whatever we do. This year we want to learn what to do with that call of excellence. Our anointing to be excellent is our appointment to be impactful. It means:
- Understand that faithfulness has an impact! Even small, unseen acts of obedience and steadfastness contribute to God’s greater plan and produce lasting fruit.
- Start Small, Impact Big. The story of FUSE starting with just five people praying and discussing scripture, growing over 14 years to impact thousands, illustrates how small beginnings can lead to exponential influence.
- Community and Shared Impact. Believers are encouraged to consider their individual contributions within their communities and how collective faithfulness multiplies impact.
- Call to Obedience and Surrender. We need to have faith like the boy with loaves and fishes. Trust God enough to multiply it to feed 5000 men. Not us but Him.
We get to be impactful because we abide in Him and embrace the anointing that he has already put in us. Our lives are excellent and will be impactful because it started from Him, by Him and for Him.
